As another incredible fishing season comes to an end here at Peril Sky in Sitka, Alaska, we’re finding ourselves feeling a little bittersweet.

The boats are getting put away, the days are getting shorter, and the waters around Sitka are getting a little quieter. But before we officially close the book on another season, we wanted to take a moment to say one thing:

Thank you to every client who chose Peril Sky this season. Whether you traveled across the country to experience Alaska fishing for the first time, returned for another year on the water, or brought your family along — you were a part of our season, and that means more to us than you probably realize.

It Is More Than Just a Fishing Trip

As a small, family-owned fishing charter, every season is personal.

We’re not just sending boats out and counting fish. We’re building a business that our family is proud of and watching it grow one trip, one client, and one memory at a time. Something that each and every one of you is helping us with. You are helping us build our dream.

Every early morning on the water, every big fish, every story told on the ride home, every first salmon, every halibut pulled from the depths, and every unforgettable wildlife encounter becomes part of what makes this business so special.

And the memories aren’t just yours.

We get to be a part of them, too.

There’s something pretty incredible about getting to share our home and home waters with people from all over the country and the world. Sitka is more than a destination to us — it’s home. Being able to introduce people to the beauty, wildness, and incredible fishing of Southeast Alaska is something we never take for granted.

Until We Meet Again

The end of fishing season doesn’t mean the adventure completely stops.

While we’re looking forward to some slower days with our families, we’re already thinking about next season. New clients, familiar faces, new adventures, big fish, beautiful days on the water, and all the memories waiting to be made.
